Shannon McLeod teaches and writes in Southeast MI. She is a former youth slam poetry coach, and she has led creative writing workshops in venues as diverse as a children’s summer camp and a women’s correctional facility.

Her stories and essays have appeared in Hobart, NEAT, Word Riot, Cheap Pop, TXTOBJX, Moonsick Magazine, The Billfold, and Gawker. Her nonfiction chapbook, Pathetic, is forthcoming from Etchings Press.
